| Introduction
DSC Alarm Monitor is a real time alarm system monitoring tool designed to monitor the events of a DSC alarm unit and send out email notifications when specific events occur. Use it to augment your alarm monitoring service or receive notification of less than critical events. Configure it to send email to your mobile device to keep you informed when away from a computer.
DSC Alarm Monitor runs as a Windows service on a computer connected to your DSC alarm unit through an IT-100 DSC PowerSeries Integration Module. It continuously monitors the alarm unit and sends an email when your specified events occur. Use it to find out when:
- an alarm has occured,
- your system is armed or disarmed,,
- a trouble condition has occured,
- a zone has been entered or restored,
- etc.
